Contract to Close, LLC is owned and operated by two principals with a combined 38 years of Real Estate sales, Real Estate Finance and Real Estate law experience, Jennifer Torres and Chip Harris. The firm was designed to assist Real Estate professionals in streamlining the time consuming and time sensitive process between the point at which a property goes into contract to the point of closing.

Untitled-1medJennifer Torres has been a licensed broker since 2005 and a Continuing Education Instructor for Superior School of Real Estate since 2009. Most recently she authored the course titled, “The Real Estate Transaction, The Good, The Bad, and The Agent,” which provides an in-depth review of TRID and how to stay ahead of the curve for both buyers and sellers while navigating the implementation of this new Federal Rule. She has also been a residential real estate Paralegal for 18 years in Charlotte, NC. Her passion is the real estate transaction and understanding it from every angle. With this type of background she brings a complete overview of how to properly meet timelines and a comprehensive background on what is expected from lenders in order to properly get the transaction from contract to close. She believes in constant communication and wants to make sure all parties have a complete understanding of the process.


Chip Harris has over 20 years experience in financial and Real Estate services. Most of his time in the financial services industry was spent at Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo) where he loaned over $100 million to individual and commercial clients over his career. He now operates Harris Property Solutions and Chip Harris and Associates through Keller Williams Realty in the Carolinas Region. Chip is a multi-million dollar Real Estate sales professional and understands that time is money. His philosophy is; why spend hours on the phone with service providers when you can spend those same hours producing more closing opportunities or adding valuable time with family. Service and attention to detail are driving forces for success.
